Dwight Howard in drag? Now I’ve seen everything.
The offseason provides guys with a lot of options. Some like to get into the summer league to work on their game. Others like traveling to Europe for rest and relaxation.
Dwight Howard likes to appear on Spanish TV shows in a red wig, looking like the scary reincarnation of Wendy.
I’d like to tell you exactly what went on here, but it was all a blur. There were bits and pieces that I remember that will haunt me for the rest of my days.
Look, far be it from me to rag on a guy who dresses in women’s clothes. We all have our things. I happen to like the Carpenters. Yes, the Carpenters. Yes, I am crying while writing this and thinking about rainbows and flowers. No, my wife wasn’t okay with it initially, but she’s learned to live with it. We never talk about it. It’s like that uncle you have who starts saying loud and offensive things when he’s drunk. You just pretend like it never happened and move on.
Still, a red wig? Really, Dwight? Perhaps he could have spent that time on his jump shot instead of feeling like a natural woman. He doesn’t need the money. He’s got that. He needs a jump shot. Also, a low-post game wouldn’t hurt his résumé.
Point being, there were better things to do with his time. Plus, those memories are burned in my mind, and I can’t get rid of them.
