You all know what I think about Zola Jesus — namely that she is the way, the truth, the light (I mean that in a totally musical, totally non-blasphemous way) and that she never ceases to amaze me with her beautiful melodies that always have this subtle hint of darkness even when they are as stunning as this one. I actually found this acoustic version of “Run Me Out” from her Stridulum EP (one of the first records I purchased when I got my record player back in January, and still one of my favorite recordsread more and hear the song
