The NHL has announced the schedule for the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals, with the first game taking place in Vancouver on Wednesday June 1. The President's Trophy (best regular season record in the NHL) winning Vancouver Canucks, who will represent the Western Conference, will hold home-ice advantage over their opponent.
The Eastern Conference representative will be decided on Friday, May 27 when the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning face off in game seven of their best of seven series.
