2011 NBA Mock Draft: Brandon Knight Update
Brandon Knight is a player whose draft stock is creeping up after the NBA combine. While Knight isn?t in competition against the bigger players vying for a top-spot in the draft, he is directly ?competing? with UConn?s Kemba Walker for the No. 3 spot.
Knight measured well at the combine. He?s 6?3? to Walker?s 6?1?, and Knight was in great shape, registering a phenomenal 4.2 BMI. His physical tools alone have him virtual deadlock with Walker.

There is still some concern that Knight is not read to perform right away whereas Walker is. The Hoops Report?s Ryan Feldman backed this up on his twitter page by stating:
"The reason Jazz prefer Kemba, I'm hearing, is cuz they want a PG who can play right away. Knight needs time to develop."
You could make the case that no one is more NBA-ready than Kemba Walker, so Knight will just need show he has the potential to be a star in the NBA during workouts with Utah. Devin Harris is already starting in Salt Lake, so the Jazz don?t even need a starting point guard anyways, a plus for Knight?s stock.
