Manchester United Transfer Rumors See Red Devils Set Sights on Villa Wing Ashley Young
Manchester United transfer rumors have been pinballing around the football landscape for several weeks now. The club has been seeking a new goalkeeper and some replacement parts in the midfield, and one name that continues to pop up in rumors is Aston Villa's promising wing Ashley Young.
According to a report from Mirror Football, Young is one of the top targets at Old Trafford this season, and Villa have sent their demands to United in return for the talented midfielder.
Villa want a reported �15 million for Young, and United certainly have the cash to spend to grab the talented wing. Young emerged as a bona fide star this season, and his heroics on the national team have helped his reputation grow even more. The 25-year-old still has time to grow, and United could use a player with his skill set.

In fact, even one of Young's teammates, Darren Bent, believes that the England national team star is headed out of Villa Park.
Bent said: "Every day, I'm in his ear going: 'Please just give us one more year, one more year, one more year'!
"I'm sure it's hard. When you've got teams like Manchester United and other Champions League sides coming in for him, then it makes it very difficult.
"I don't know if it's a done deal yet but at the same time when Manchester United and Chelsea and those kind of clubs come calling, it makes it difficult."
This one seems like a fairly likely deal to get done, as United have the cash, Young wants to get out of Villa, and there aren't many other suitors with the appeal Old Trafford brings to the table. United seem to want him, which means odds are good we can expect to see Young firing shots and lobbing crosses at Old Trafford next season.
