Two-thirds of the 2011 MLB All-Star Game has been completed, and the National League is winning 4-1.
Adrian Gonzalez had the American League' first hit, and it was a home run to give them a 1-0 lead. Prince Fielder then came back with a three-run home run to give the NL a 3-1 lead. Rickie Weeks then scored on an Andre Ethier single, to put the game at 4-1.
The National League's pitching has dominated as we have expected, and they still have some great arms left in their bullpen.
The surprise of the game has been the NL's offense. They have produced four runs, and they are consistently getting on-base. We all thought that the NL's offense would suffer, but they have done very well.
Going forward it looks like the NL will continue to lead the AL, and their pitching staff does not seem to be beatable.
I am predicting the final score to be 5-2 with the NL winning.
