The Shoes are an electronic dance duo coming out of France (although if I wouldn’t have read this I would have sworn they were British as the vocals in this song remind me ever so slightly of The Kooks’ vocalist), but there’s something about that I really dig. They’ve got a few tunes floating around the interwebs right now and have been holed up working on their debut album to be released next year. Their first quasi-single is “Stay The Same” and it has a beat that sounds somewhat South American to me, or maybe it’s just the instrumentation.read more and hear the song
