George Lopez Apologizes for Comparing Kirstie Alley to a Dancing Pig

After comparing Kirstie Alley to a pig, George Lopez is taking to social media to apologize to the 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant.

Following Alley's debut on 'Dancing With the Stars,' Lopez compared the actress's routine to a pig with "little hooves tapping away." Lopez followed up his insensitive comment by joking, "Before the show, she went to the market and then she had roast beef," and playing a video of a pig in a car, alleging that it was Alley.

While Alley seemed unfazed by Lopez's nasty remarks, her fans rallied in support of the actress and her dancing skills and slammed Lopez for his malicious behavior.

It seems that Lopez took the message to heart. Yesterday, the comedian apologized to the actress via Twitter, writing, "I misjudged the joke. No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie."
