Marvin Lewis looked like he was going to stay in Cincinnati after a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter said the two sides were coming to an agreement and now Schefter is saying that doesn't look like the case anymore.
The two sides had talks fall apart and Lewis left the facility and his future is in doubt. The coach does not have a deal in place and said that some things had to change if he was going to return to the Bengals for next season and beyond.
Lewis and the Bengals could not agree on the franchise's direction and that's what divided the two parties and with the Bengals being as bad as they were this year and all of the disappointment that went along with it, I can see why he'd want to shake things up.
When you're bringing in guys like Terrell Owens and Pacman Jones, guys who aren't exactly the guys you want in a locker room, I can see why he'd want things to change. It's just a messy situation in Cincy and something has to give and it looks like it's Lewis.
