Another linked wide attacker, Jeffren Suarez, has seemingly ruled out a move to Liverpool this summer after claiming he is happy at Barcelona and has no wish to move on.
Reports recently said he was near the top of Kenny Dalglish's wishlist but despite just three league starts this season Jeffren says he still harbours ambitions of making it at Barca and wants to stay and fight for his place.
