NFL Draft 2011 Has QB Jay Cutler Begging the Bears to Draft an Offensive Lineman
For all the nonsense about Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler "quitting" on the team in the NFC Championship Game last season, people seem to forget the fact that he endured 56 sacks in 2010, the most in the league.
Coach Lovie Smith painstakingly worked to find his best five offensive lineman throughout the course of last season, only to find out at the end that even his five best weren't good enough.
But with a first-round selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, Smith and the Bears have a chance to significantly help themselves in 2011.

They most likely will see either Colorado's Nate Solder, Baylor's Danny Watkins or Florida's Mike Pouncey fall to them, and they'll be sure to gobble up whomever comes their way.
The Bears could also stand to upgrade their linebacking corps. Sure, they have Pro Bowlers Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs under contract, but as for the rest of their linebackers that played in 2010, they all are free agents.
Also, defensive tackle could be a position they look at, with Tommy Harris released and Anthony Adams an unrestricted free agent.
But hopefully, for Cutler's sake, the Bears will address their O-line early, so that he doesn't get hurt when his alleged protectors part like the Red Sea and he's blamed for getting injured in another NFC Championship Game.
