Alex Ovechkin took home his third straight "Breakaway Challenge" victory at this year's NHL All-Star Game and while his showmanship was not up to the standard of some of his past performances, it was enough to win the competition.
All-Star weekend is perhaps the only time that "The Great Eight" can put his personality on display without being criticized for being a showoff or worse.
